CANNP has approved Edison Institute of Nutrition’s Online Diploma in Holistic Nutrition Program (DHN) as exceeding the educational requirements for its designation NNCP (Natural Nutrition Clinical Practitioner).

CANNP is an organization formed for the purpose of creating a stronger presence for Holistic Nutritional Practitioners across Canada and supporting members in the development of their professional expertise and businesses. The benefits of membership include the availability of Errors and Omissions Insurance, a mentoring program, many member specials, access to industry and business information on an ongoing basis, and much more.

International Organization of Nutritional Consultants, IONC

IONC has approved Edison Institute of Nutrition’s Online Diploma in Holistic Nutrition program as exceeding the educational requirements for its professional designation of Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner (RNCP) and the higher-level designation of Registered Orthomolecular Health Practitioner (ROHP).

IONC, founded in 1983, is an independent association that sets standards of practice for its professional members. Through IONC, practicing RNCP/ROHP’s may obtain malpractice insurance. Services of RNCP/ROHP’s are also covered by some private health insurance plans.

NANP is a USA nutrition association originally founded in 1985.

Edison Institute of Nutrition’s Online Diploma in Holistic Nutrition program meets the NANP’s requirements for professional membership. NANP also offers the opportunity for members to write the board exam in holistic nutrition for the designation Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition.

Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine (CCHM)

Through our partner school, the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine (CCHM), you can earn your Diploma in Homeopathy concurrently with your Diploma in Holistic Nutrition.

As a student or graduate at Edison Institute of Nutrition, you will be exempt from the nutrition courses required to earn your diploma in homeopathy. Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine students and graduates will be exempt from many of EIN’s subjects previously completed in the homeopathy diploma program.

The Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine is the oldest homeopathic college in Canada, and offers an in-class program starting in September and a correspondence distance education program throughout the year.

Nutritional Preceptorship Program

The Nutritional Preceptorship Program was established in 1997 to provide a tutorial mentoring program for holistic health practitioners. It is designed to fast track the conversion of nutritional theory into clinical practice, through skill building by observation of real-life case studies or through educational webinars.

NPP’s mission is to empower practitioners, by offering protocols for supplementation, lifestyle, and dietary changes that will save you the many years it took the creators of this program “to get to this point”.

All presentations are developed and conducted by highly successful practitioners considered exceptional in their field, including directors of Edison Institute of Nutrition and its instructors.
