Tax Deductions

EIN is certified by Human Resources Development Canada to issue tuition tax credit receipts (T2202A Tuition and Education Amounts Certificate) for amounts over $100 to Canadian students. Students outside Canada may request an official tax receipt.

If you declare some income from nutritional counseling, the income tax departments of most countries will allow you to deduct the cost of your training at EIN as a business expense. You must check with a tax accountant or the tax authorities where you reside to verify the extent to which such a business deduction is permitted.

Refund Policy

Full refund at anytime for all unused texts currently on the curriculum and returned to Edison in new, resalable condition. Authorization must be obtained before returning any course material. Also, an explanation in writing must accompany the returned package.

Refund of application fee if cancellation is received during the first five calendar days after signing the enrollment agreement.

Full refund of tuition fees if cancellation is received prior to submitting the first test/assignment and within 3 months of enrolment. A 15% processing fee will apply and materials must be returned to EIN at the expense of the student.

A pro rata refund of the unused portion of tuition fees paid, according to the percentage of units in the prepaid module(s) for which tests/assignments have been submitted. (For example, 3 units submitted in a prepaid module of 15 units qualifies for an 80% refund, 6 units for a 60% refund, 9 units for a 40% refund, and so on). No refunds after one year for one module or for students who prepay one whole Level, no refunds after the time limit to complete the Level. A 15% processing fee will apply and unused materials must be returned to EIN at the expense of the student.

If you cancel your enrollment in EIN you may or may not be eligible for re-admission at a later date, at EIN's sole discretion.
