This all natural cough syrup recipe was created by Sylvia Ryan, a student of Edison Institute of Nutrition, from Newfoundland, Canada.
Ingredients:
1 organic lemon
1⁄4 cup organic unpasteurized honey
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 tablespoon grated ginger
1⁄4 tsp cayenne pepper
Directions:
Combine 3 tablespoons of fresh squeezed organic lemon juice, 1⁄4 cup organic unpasteurized honey, 2 tablespoons of coconut oil, 1 tablespoon of grated ginger root and 1⁄4 tsp cayenne pepper. Warm it in a saucepan, until the coconut oil melts. Bottle it and take it when needed. Really helps with persistant coughs, asthma conditions and lessens the need for puffers.
