Edison Institute of Nutrition (EIN) is a Canadian school providing formal training in nutrition by distance learning. Edison offers Introductory, Certificate, Practitioner, Masters, and Mentorship Programs. EIN students may qualify for the designation of Registered Nutritional Consultant Practitioner (RNCP) granted by the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants (IONC).
The Edison Institute of Nutrition (EIN) was established in 1996. EIN is a Canadian school providing meaningful training in nutrition by distance learning. Students from 23 countries have enjoyed the benefits of EIN’s comprehensive introductory, career, and mentorship programs.
EIN is a school without walls. It has no buildings, no classrooms, no classes. Without these costly overheads, EIN can provide significant training for a fraction of the fees charged by traditional universities and colleges.
Students work at their own pace in the comfort of their own homes, wherever in the world they may be located. Faculty members also work from their own homes and personal offices. Faculty and students communicate with each other via fax, telephone, website, email, and postal service. All instruction, textbooks and supporting materials are in the English language.
David W. Rowland is the founder of Edison Institute of Nutrition. For the first 30 years of his life, David suffered from repeated bouts of respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disturbances, and malaise. His ill health was really a blessing that encouraged him to learn about natural methods of healing. In the process of curing himself, David discovered his deep love for informing others about their health options. David's personal path to full health led him to undertake extensive training in nutrition, eventually leading to a PhD degree in this field.
The Edison Institute of Nutrition (EIN) is the culmination of David's many years of studying, practicing, writing and teaching. Through its programs he wishes to share his love for this exciting field with all who would like to participate.
